PostHeaderIcon Mock Draft (1 week to go)

1st Round

1. St. Louis Rams: Sam Bradford,QB,Oklahoma

There's been rumors that the Rams are going to trade this pick to the Steelers for Rothlesburger. I doubt that's going to happen, in a week Bradford will be a Ram.

2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh,DT,Nebraska

Suh has been the top player on the board the entire offseason. His game tape is better than any DT in atleast the last 10 years. With Jim Schwartz being a former D line coach he'll take this talent on the line over an OT.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy,DT,Oklahoma

McCoy is just a shade below Suh, even though they are different style players. McCoy is a quick penetrating DT, while Suh is more of a two gap player. There haven't been 2 prospects this good in the same draft in years.

4. Washington Redskins: Trent Williams,OT,Oklahoma

Williams is a better fit in Shanahan's zone blocking scheme over Okung. Okung is more NFL ready right now, but Williams has bigger upside and is more athletic.

5. Kansas City Chiefs: Russell Okung,OT,Oklahoma State

4 of the top 5 played in the state of Oklahoma last year. If Okung is available here he's definitely the pick, if Washington takes him they could go with Berry, but Pioli likes to go with positional value.

6. Seattle Seahawks: Bryan Bulaga,OT,Iowa

Seattle has a glaring need at Tackle. Derrick Morgan is worthy of the pick here, but with the way OT's fly off the board I don't think Seattle will wait until their 2nd first round pick to take someone as the top 5 could easily be gone.

7. Cleveland Browns: Eric Berry,FS,Tennessee

It's looking more and more like the Browns are going to luck out and have Berry fall in their lap. This is great value as Berry is easily the best player on the board, and the AFC North lands another great Safety, now the Bengals need one.

8. Oakland Raiders: Anthony Davis,OT,Rutgers

Bruce Campbell had a better combine so he could be the pick as Al Davis loves workout warriors. However I think Davis does the right thing here and takes the better football player, who did put up good numbers himself.

9. Buffalo Bills: Jimmy Clausen,QB,Notre Dame

The Bills need a Tackle, but with four of them going in the top eight there's no one of value at this pick. The Bills also have to be getting tired of beating around the bush with Edwards and Fitzpatrick.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Derrick Morgan,DE,Georgia Tech

The Jags are gonna get the best player on the board at a position of need. Morgan is one of my favorite players in this draft and the only one I'd consider trading up more than a couple spots to acquire. I'd love for the Bengals to land him, he's the complete package at DE.

11. Denver Broncos: Dez Bryant,WR,Oklahoma State

It's official Brandon Marshall is headed to Miami and WR is now a glaring need in Denver. It appears they're willing to take another diva WR and may be in the same position trying to trade him in a few years.

12. Miami Dolphins: Earl Thomas,FS,Texas

Thomas will be too good of a talent for the Dolphins to pass on here. They have a need at Safety and need someone to be that centerfielder type, sorry Bengals fans no Thomas.

13. San Francisco 49ers: Kyle Wilson,CB,Boise State

I'm one of the few that has Kyle Wilson as the best corner in the draft. I think Singletary will be another one of those people as Wilson is the more physical player and in my opinion can cover just as well if not better than Haden.

14. Seattle Seahawks: CJ Spiller,RB,Clemson

The Seahawks could end up trading for Lynch, but Buffalo appearantly wants a 2nd rounder for him which is rediculous. Santonio Holmes got a 5th and Lynch has been in just as much trouble minus the Super Bowl MVP, and Holmes is a better player with higher positional value.

15. New York Giants: Rolando McClain,LB,Alabama

Antonio Pierce is gone and the Giants have a big hole at middle linebacker. McClain is the fiery type of player who can immediately come in and be a leader on that defense.

16. Tennessee Titans: Jason Pierre-Paul,DE,South Florida

The Titans need a DE after trading Vanden Bosch and Pierre-Paul has tremendous upside here as he has skills that can't be taught. He'll need some work on his run defense, but should be able to immediately rush the passer.

17. San Francisco 49ers: Mike Iupati,OG,Idaho

The Niners want to become a smashmouth football team on offense. Iupati is a mauler in the run game and no Tackle is worth the pick here.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Joe Haden,CB,Florida

The Steelers struggled big time at CB last year after losing McFadden. They may end up taking 2 early corners in this draft, but they actually have a ton of needs.

19. Atlanta Falcons: Brandon Graham,DE,Michigan

The Falcons need to get someone who can pressure the QB as they had nothing in that department last season.

20. Houston Texans: Kareem Jackson,CB,Alabama

The Texans have a huge hole at CB after letting Dunta Robinson get away. They could go RB here but CB's are gonna fly off the board this year as there's so many good ones and it's a position of high value.

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham,TE,Oklahoma

Yes, he's coming off injury, but the guy is a stud either way and he's looked good in workouts. His injury is no more likely to reoccur than someone who's never had the same injury according to doctors and his ACL injury was 5 years ago. Bottom line is even with all the talent in this draft the Bengals need to get Carson some weapons. It was ugly watching that offense the 2nd half of last season, especially in the red zone where Gresham could really be an asset. This will do a number of things on offense, provide a big target over the middle that can stretch the field. Open things up on the outside for Chad and A. Bryant. Also deter defenses from stacking the box against Ced. As for the Bengals don't use a TE, well over the last 2 years they've targeted the TE an average of 5 times a game. Also another reason the TE isn't used more is there hasn't really been a viable option at the position, if Gresham is brought in those 5 targets a game will likely go to 8 targets a game.

22. New England Patriots: Demaryius Thomas,WR,Georgia Tech

The Patriots are going into the season with a declining Randy Moss and Welker not being able to start the season. Their best WR could be Julian Edelman on opening day, they have to do something to get Brady some weapons. I predict NE misses the playoffs this year.

23. Green Bay Packers: Charles Brown,OT,USC

I really felt bad for Aaron Rodgers last year as he was getting drilled every game. The Pack has a QB that could be elite they need to get him protected.

24. Philadelphia Eagles: Sergio Kindle,DE/OLB,Texas

The Eagles need some LB's that can get after the QB with how much they like to blitz. Kindle is a player that has great speed for his size and will be a beast coming off the edge.

25. Baltimore Ravens: Dan Williams,DT,Tennessee

The Ravens are really high on Jared Odrick, but with Dan Williams falling here they will be unable to pass on him. He's a player that could go in the top 10 and NT's are tought to find.

26. Arizona Cardinals: Jared Odrick,DE,Penn State

With Baltimore opting for Williams the Cards will jump all over Odrick to play end in their 3-4. The Cards have lost more key players than anyone this year and have holes everywhere.

27. Dallas Cowboys: Taylor Mays,FS,USC

The Cowboys have a huge need at Safety. Jerry Jones loves to take players that have big names coming out of college and won't be able to pass on Mays even though he can't cover.

28. San Diego Chargers: Ryan Matthews,RB,Fresno State

The LT era is over in SD, but not without a few parting jabs from LT. The Chargers have to get a big back as Sproles can't carry a full load for a 16 game season and should only be used as a change of pace back.

29. New York Jets: Jerry Hughes,DE/OLB,TCU

The Jets know if they want to make the Super Bowl they're going to have to get past the Colts which means pressuring Manning. To do that they need to upgrade with rush LB's.

30. Minnesota Vikings: Maurkice Pouncey,OG/OC,Florida

This guy is a monster in the running game and the Vikings struggled to run block last year which was a suprise. The only reason they were able to run at all is because of AP.

31. Indianapolis Colts: Bruce Campbell,OT,Maryland

The Colts need help up front on offense and Campbell can run block. With him having skills that can't be taught the Colts will be able to coach up Campbell and make him a steal this late.

32. New Orleans Saints: Sean Weatherspoon,LB,Missouri

The Saints will get a steal here as I've had Weatherspoon going as high as 15 to the Giants. With Fujita signing with Cleveland someone needs brought in early to start.

2nd Round

33. Rams: Golden Tate,WR,Notre Dame

With the most valuable pick in the draft due to the new format the Rams need to take a playmaker for their new franchise QB to get the ball to.

34. Lions: Roger Saffold,OT,Indiana

For people calling for Russell Okung in Detroit, if they wait and get Suh they can still land a 1st round tackle at 34 and will look like geniuses for waiting.

35. Buccaneers: Arrelious Benn,WR,Illinois

Since the Bengals signed the Bucs best WR away from them they have to get one for their young QB. This is about the time those good 2nd round WR's start coming off the board.

36. Chiefs: Terrance Cody,DT,Alabama

Cody's size obviously can't be taught and he'll consistently command double teams. Plus this is once again position value for Pioli as NT is the most important position in a 3-4.

37. Eagles: Jon Asamoah,OG,Illinois

Not many, if any, have Asomoah going this high. But he's not far behind Iupati and Pouncey in my opinion and Andy Reid loves big lineman. The Andrews experiment is over in Philly after 1 season.

38. Browns: Colt McCoy,QB,Texas

The Browns are really high on McCoy and the best situation for him would be an offense that runs the west coast offense so deep throws aren't really required.

39. Raiders: Devin McCourtey,CB,Rutgers

The Raiders still may end up moving Nmandi Asomogha before the draft and even if they don't they need an upgrade at number 2 and 3 corner. McCourtey is a first round talent.

40. Chargers: Linval Joseph,DT,East Carolina

Joseph's stock has been soaring as of late and SD needs a pure NT as they just cut the only one they had. This will be an excellent fit for Joseph.

41. Bills: Cam Thomas,DT,North Carolina

The Bills are transitioning to a 3-4 defense this year and after seeing the other NT's go right in front of them they grab the last of the big 4 NT's.

42. Buccaneers: Everson Griffen,DE,USC

This is excellent value getting Griffen here at a position of need. This instantly transforms their D line with McCoy and Griffen in house, two 1st round D lineman.

43. Broncos: Jahvid Best,RB,California

The Broncos got this pick in the Brandon Marshall trade and after taking Bryant in the first, McDaniels will get a RB to go with Moreno. Look for McDaniels to go offense early and often.

44. Patriots: Alex Carrington,DE/DT,Arkansas State

The Pats traded Richard Seymour which was smart because that could be a number 1 overall pick next year. But they need someone to replace him and Carrington is a good fit in a 3-4 at DE.

45. Broncos: Nate Allen,FS,South Florida

Brian Dawkins is getting old and bringing in Allen would be smart as it'd give him some time to learn under one of the best.

46. Giants: Carlos Dunlap,DE,Florida

I don't know what's going on with Osi Umenyiora but the Giants like to take D lineman early in the draft as that's how they won a Super Bowl so why not?

47. Patriots: Jason Worilds,OLB/DE,Virginia Tech

Worilds has elite speed for his size and is an excellent pass rusher. Bellicheck loves taking those hybrid type players in the 2nd round.

48. Panthers: Damian Williams,WR,USC

Steve Smith recently said he wants another WR across from him as he doesn't view himself as a number 1 anymore. Williams is great value at this spot and will take some heat off Smith.

49. 49ers: Brandon LaFell,WR,LSU

This is great value as well and SF needs someone to line up across from Crabtree that has some skill to take some coverage away from Crabtree and Vernon Davis.

50. Chiefs: Koa Misi,OLB/DE,Utah

This will be brutal for KC watching those 2 WR's come off the board right before they pick as they really need one and those would've been excellent value. However with no one of value left KC can opt to fix that terrible pass rush.

51. Texans: Ben Tate,RB,Auburn

The Texans have Steve Slaton coming off neck surgery and aren't sold on him carrying the full load. Look for them to draft a big back early.

52. Steelers: Eric Decker,WR,Minnesota

With Santonio Holmes being traded to the Jets, WR becomes a need in Pittsburgh. Decker will be a good fit in the slot as a possession WR with Wallace and Ward on the outside.

53. Patriots: Akwasi Owusu-Ansah,CB,IUP

CB isn't a huge need in NE, but the Patriots always take value over need and Owusu has excellent speed and athleticism.

54. Bengals: LaMarr Houston,DT,Texas

They could go Safety here, but with them all still available they may take a chance on waiting until the 3rd as one should be available that's good value. Houston is versatile being able to play anywhere on the D line which adds to his value. He is excellent at penetrating and will add an interior pass rush that the Bengals have been missing. Watch his game tape, he's in the backfield every game all the time. Even against elite competition look at the Championship game. My theory is to be a consistent winner you must take lineman early in the draft on either side of the ball. With Gresham being the 1st pick and having some blocking ability, then Houston in the 2nd, they are off to a good start and add depth up front on both sides of the ball. Football is won and lost in the trenches and having depth up front is essential.

55. Eagles: Geno Atkins,DT,Georgia

The Eagles need to acquire some players that can get after the QB as they lost that aspect on defense with Jim Johnson passing.

56. Packers: Brandon Ghee,CB,Wake Forest

The Packers have 2 CB's starting that are both over 30 and one of them is coming off an ACL injury. Look for GB to take a couple corners in this draft.

57. Ravens: Chris Cook,CB/FS,Virginia

The Ravens corners struggled big time last year and there's a chance their only good player in the secondary could retire. Cook is a big fast corner with the size to play Safety as well.

58. Cardinals: Rob Gronkowski,TE,Arizona

The Cards traded Boldin and although Breaston will move outside they need someone to go over the middle. Gronkowski would possibly be a 1st round pick if not for his back which will cause him to slide.

59. Cowboys: Jared Veldheer,OT,Hillsdale

The Cowboys two biggest needs are Safety and on the O line. After taking Mays in the 1st, Veldheer gives them the best value here as he's the only lineman remaining worth a 2nd round pick.

60. Seahawks: Tyson Alualu,DT,California

Alualu should go before 60, but with so many teams now playing the 3-4 the 4-3 D lineman may slip in the draft. Alualu did play a 3-4 at Cal but is a better fit at DT in a 4-3.

61. Jets: Morgan Burnett,FS,Georgia Tech

With Kerry Rhodes thinking that the Jets should've schemed their entire defense around him they cut him. Burnett can play either Safety position which should have him go in the 2nd round.

62. Vikings: Patrick Robinson,CB,Florida State

The Vikings are old and often injured at CB. If they want to get by the Saints they will need some coverage guys that can stay healthy.

63. Colts: Brian Price,DT,UCLA

The Colts always seem to need an upgrade at DT to keep some blockers off Freeney and Mathis. Price was once considered a 1st rounder, but after a terrible pro day of being slow, fat, and out of shape teams will go back and look at the tape and find the flaws in his game.

64. Saints: Corey Wooten,DE,Northwestern

Charles Grant is gone in NO and a replacement needs to be brought in. I think Wooten is overrated somewhat but he's likely the best DE left.

3rd Round

65. Rams: Aaron Hernandez,TE,Florida

The theme for this draft for the Rams should be offense. Get as many weapons around Bradford as possible. If these 3 players end up going to St. Louis they'd have a bright future on offense.

66. Lions: Carlton Mitchell,WR,South Florida

The Lions need another weapon for Stafford on the opposite side of Calvin Johnson. Mitchell may take a year or so to develop, but I think the Lions are still in rebuilding mode not win now.

67. Buccaneers: Amari Spievey,CB,Iowa

The Bucs are going to try to get back to the glory days on D that won them a Super Bowl. With 3 defenders in the first 67 picks they're off to a good start.

68. Chiefs: Mardy Gilyard,WR,Cincinnati

This could change if they acquire Ginn, but for now the Chiefs need WR's and Todd Haley loves to throw the ball.

69. Raiders: Dexter McCluster,WR/RB,Ole Miss

The Raiders still need weapons after wasting the 7th pick on DHB last year. McCluster is a versatile playmaker that can hit the home run.

70. Eagles: Perrish Cox,CB,Oklahoma State

The Eagles traded the overrated Sheldon Brown and need a corner. Cox is an upgrade an was once thought to be the 2nd best corner in this draft, he still gets a 2nd round grade.

71. Browns: Andre Roberts,WR,The Citadel

The Browns have the worst receiving group in the NFL. Roberts could be a slot guy and make an immediate impact. He was the best looking WR at the Senior Bowl practice week.

72. Bills: Vladimir Duccasse,OT/OG,UMass

The Bills need to upgrade on their O line, especially after drafting Jimmy Clausen in the 1st. The biggest reason for QB busts is no blocking.

73. Dolphins: Jamar Chaney,LB,Mississippi State

Chaney would be a good fit inside in the Dolphins 3-4. He has great range and speed and can be a thumper in the middle.

74. Jaguars: Tim Tebow,QB,Florida

Will Tebow fall this far? No, but the Jags will trade up this pick with something else to get him. The Jags need to get Tim Tebow in this draft.

75. Bears: Reshad Jones,FS,Georgia

The Bears got sub par play out of both their Safeties last year and both want more money. Jones has more potential than either of the Bears current starting players.

76. Giants: Navarro Bowman,LB,Penn State

The Giants need upgrades at all 3 linebackers spots. Bowman could end up being a steal here, he was a very productive player at Penn State.

77. Titans: Dominique Franks,CB,Oklahoma

The Titans struggled against the pass for 2 reasons last year, their pass rush and their below average corner play. Franks will be an upgrade at the corner spot across from Finnegan.

78. Panthers: Mike Neal,DT,Purdue

The Panthers lost their best player in Julius Peppers, but they need upgrades all over the line. Neal is a good start, he's got ability to get pressure up the middle.

79. 49ers: John Jerry,OG,Ole Miss

The Niners are gonna try to get to a run the ball smashmouth offense. Jerry along with Anthony Davis will allow them to do that.

80. Broncos: JD Walton,OC/OG,Baylor

The Broncos interior line really struggled last year, especially in the run game. That's a change from all the years of excellent line play and with a 1st round RB in house that needs to be fixed.

81. Texans: Chad Jones,SS,LSU

The Texans need to upgrade their entire secondary. When Payton Manning is in your division you need as many pass defenders as possible.

82. Steelers: Mitch Petrus,OG,Arkansas

The Steelers have needed an upgrade on the line for a few years. Rooney recently said the Steelers need to get back to running the ball, and they do with all the Big Ben drama going on.

83. Falcons: Dekoda Watson,LB,Florida State

The Falcons only have one viable starter at LB and that's Curtis Lofton. I think Graham will play DE and he and Watson would bring excellent speed coming off the edge.

84. Bengals: Major Wright,FS,Florida

Had Wright stayed in school another year he could have been a 1st round pick. He may need a year or two to develop, but the Bengals can afford that and have him playing only on passing downs behind Crocker and Williams. Wright has the skill set as good as anyone in this draft, besides Taylor Mays. But he can cover way better than Mays. I think the choice not to go Safety in the 2nd would pay off for the Bengals as with how deep the position is there's likely to be a good one in the 3rd.

85. Browns: Jonathon Dwyer,RB,Georgia Tech

Dwyer's stock has taken a hit and had he declared last year I think he would've been drafted way higher than this. He's not an every down back, but the Browns have a couple solid backs already in place.

86. Packers: Daryl Washington,LB,TCU

I'm not as high on Washington as everyone else. He played inside at TCU and will be outside in the NFL. I really don't see him being a great fit in any style D, but he has good skills and could end up being an asset the Packers need off the edge in their 3-4.

87. Eagles: Kyle Calloway,OT,Iowa

The Andrews experiment was a disaster last year on the right side of the line. Both brothers are lazy and overpaid. They should be arrested for stealing when they collect their paycheck. I'm so glad the Bengals didn't resign Stacy what a piece of crap.

88. Cardinals: Torell Troup,DT,Central Florida

The Cards need to add some depth on the D line and Troup is the last of the early round pure NT's.

89. Cardinals: Sean Lee,LB,Penn State

Had Lee not been injured he likely would've gone early 2nd. The Cards lost Dansby and need someone to replace him immediately. Lee can be a starter from day 1.

90. Cowboys: Blair White,WR,Michigan State

The Cowboys have their vertical threat in Austin and Witten stretches the middle of the field. They need a slot guy who's quick and shifty and can hit the home run.

91. Chargers: Jerome Murphy,CB,South Florida

Murphy could end up being one of the sleepers in this draft. He's a productive corner at South Florida and with Cromartie traded to the Jets, SD needs a replacement.

92. Browns: Ricky Sapp,OLB/DE,Clemson

Sapp is another one of those players who looks excellent on tape, but will fall due to injury. The Browns will take advantage of him sliding.

93. Vikings: Joe McKnight,RB,USC

The Vikings lost Chester Taylor to the Bears in free agency. Taylor was probably the best backup in the NFL. McKnight has a ton of potential and should be a decent change of pace guy behind AP.

94. Colts: Jermaine Cunningham,DE,Florida

The Colts need some depth behind Freeney and Mathis, look at the 2nd half of the Super Bowl. Plus Mathis only has 1 more year left on his contract and this will give Polian leverage in negotiations.

95. Saints: Anthony McCoy,TE,USC

Jeremy Shockey is getting up there in age and has been struggling with injuries the past few years. McCoy is an underrated TE that has good hands, can stretch the middle of the field, and is an above average blocker. This will give the Saints explosive offense another boost.

96. Bengals: Mike Johnson,OG,Alabama

I'd love this draft if this is how it goes down. I love the idea of lineman on both sides of the ball early and often. Counting Gresham as a lineman the Bengals have taken a lineman in every round at a position of need. Mike Johnson is a mauler in the run game and already has some chemistry with Andre Smith. He would add depth and possibly compete for a starting spot with Mathis and Livings. Or he could play and learn behind Bobbie Williams and take over for him in a couple years. The Bengals love taking their SEC offensive lineman.

97. Titans: Darrell Stuckey,FS,Kansas

The Titans are in the same division as Manning and need to be able to defend the pass. This draft would be good for the Titans pass defense adding a premier pass rusher and two good players in their secondary.

98. Falcons: Dennis Pitta,TE,BYU

Tony Gonzalez isn't going to be able to play forever, and if I was the Falcons I'd want to get his replacement in and learning from one of the best of all time.

4th Round

99. Rams: Perry Riley,LB,LSU

The Rams need to get some LB's on the outside of James Laurinitis and get him some help. It'd also help if the top 5 D lineman they drafted start producing.

100. Lions: Montario Hardesty,RB,Tennessee

Kevin Smith was injured quite a bit last year and it's doubtful he can handle a full workload. Hardesty is a big bruising back that could be a bell cow.

101. Buccaneers: Jimmy Graham,TE,Miami

Graham is getting the Antonio Gates comparison's. I don't think he's there yet, but at 6-8 he's a big target and when developed could be a great weapon for Freeman.

102. Chiefs: Ed Dickson,TE,Oregon

The Chiefs need to add more playmakers for their overpaid QB. Bowe,Dickson, and Gilyard would be a decent trio of weapons for Cassell.

103. Redskins: Jeff Owens,DT,Georgia

Owens put up great numbers at the combine which could cause the Raiders to reach for him. The Skins may end up trading Haynesworth still and something tells me they want a backup plan.

104. Seahawks: Taylor Price,WR,Ohio

Houshmandzadeh isn't a number 1 and Bengals fans could've told Paul Allen that before he threw all that money at him. Price is one of the top vertical threat WR's in this draft and will open things up underneath for Housh.

105. Eagles: John Skelton,QB,Fordham

The Eagles can draft another QB to develop and take over for Kolb in a few years after the Philly fans bash him, tough city to play QB in as you'll never be good enough, no one will.

106. Raiders: Dorin Dickerson,TE,Pittsburgh

A TE that ran a 4.40 forty at the combine available in the 4th round. This will almost be too good to be true for Al Davis and no way he doesn't take him here if he's available.

107. Bills: Marshall Newhouse,OG,TCU

Eric Wood is coming off injury and if the Bills draft Jimmy Clausen they need to get some lineman to block for him. The biggest reason for QB busts is no blocking and all the sacks shake their confidence.

108. Jaguars: Tony Pike,QB,Cincinnati

David Garrard is getting up there in age and he's an average QB anyway. Pike could be a bust or he could end up being a franchise QB and a steal in the 4th round.

109. Bears: Zane Beadles,OG,Utah

The Bears run blocking last year was terrible, just ask Matt Forte. Bringing in Chester Taylor isn't going to do anything if they don't get their line fixed. With no picks until the 3rd round the Bears are going to struggle to fill needs in this year's draft. Was Cutler worth it?

110. Dolphins: Robert Johnson,FS,Utah

The Dolphins need to seriously upgrade at Safety. They have 2 young corners and need help over the top.

111. Titans: Jarrett Brown,QB,West Virginia

I think this will be the last year Kerry Collins plays in Tennessee. Young looks like he's gonna be the future but hasn't proven anything yet. At minimum this pick will push him.

112. Panthers: Tony Moeaki,TE,Iowa

The Panthers have a young QB starting this year for his 1st season as the starter. A young QB's best friend is a good TE that he can checkdown to if needed.

113. 49ers: Thaddeus Gibson,OLB/DE,Ohio State

The best way for SF to help their new young secondary is to put pressure on the QB. Gibson will provide that coming off the edge.

114. Broncos: Sergio Render,OG,Virginia Tech

One interior lineman isn't going to cut it for Denver. Render is a mauler in the run game and the Broncos need to upgrade both Guard positions. Render and Walton could be a good combo.

115. Giants: Toby Gerhart,RB,Stanford

Jacobs and Bradshaw were both hurt for most of the season last year and that's been the case since Jacobs took over as the starter. Gerhart is a RB that will get you that 1 yard on 3rd and 1.

116. Steelers: Jason Fox,OT,Miami

The Steelers already grabbed a Guard and now they have a tackle to play opposite Colon. With the 2 O lineman drafted their line should improve considerably.

117. Falcons: Jacoby Ford,WR,Clemson

Ford had the fastest time at the combine and one of the fastest over the last 10 years. The Falcons could use someone with Fords speed, plus he adds a boost to the return game.

118. Texans: Myron Lewis,CB/FS,Vanderbilt

Lewis would be a good pick in the 4th round for Houston as he can play both corner and safety. Both areas the Texans need multiple players in.

119. Patriots: Anthony Dixon,RB,Mississippi State

Bill Belicheck understands that good RB's can be had in later rounds. After Maroney underproducing as a 1st rounder look for the Pats to take a RB in this spot.

120. Bengals: Javier Arenas,CB,Alabama

The Bengals need another player to compete for a nickel corner spot. Arenas would most likely come in and win that position. The Bengals need all the good corners they can get with this years schedule being against pass happy teams. David Jones signed his tender today and with him,Trent, and Arenas the Bengals 3,4,and 5 corners could be very good for their respective spots.

121. Eagles: Larry Asante,SS,Nebraska

The Eagles have 2 starting Safeties on the plus side of 30 and after getting rid of Dawkins last year are in need of an upgrade.

122. Packers: Donovan Warren,CB,Michigan

I said earlier that the Packers would have to take atleast 2 corners in this draft. With their starters getting up there in age, but being good still it'd be smart to let the 2 young guys come in and learn from Woodsen and Harris.

123. Cardinals: Dan LeFevour,QB,Central Michigan

I don't think the Cards are sold on Matt Leinert, and they definitely shouldn't be on Derrick Anderson. They atleast gotta get some competition in.

124. Jets: Arthur Jones,DE/DT,Syracuse

The Jets have 3 players on the D line that are over 30, it's time for them to add some youth on the line.

125. Cowboys: Shawn Lavaou,OG,Arizona State

The Cowboys have been good on the line for years, but it's time to add some youth. They've already cut Flozell Adams and I think more cuts are coming.

126. Chargers: Jevan Snead,QB,Ole Miss

The Chargers traded Charlie Whitehurst and if Rivers goes down they will regret it, Snead has potential but hasn't performed at Ole Miss like he should.

127. Seahawks: LaGarrette Blount,RB,Oregon

The Seahawks will keep Blount in the northwest as they need a power back. Blount is a big bruiser and I don't blame him for punching that guy who was taunting him.

128. Vikings: Phillip Dillard,LB,Nebraska

EJ Henderson was injured most of the year last year, but the Vikings D still played well. This year they'll have a backup plan for Henderson.

129. Colts: Kam Chancellor,SS,Virginia Tech

Bob Sanders has had some bad luck with injuries and has missed over half the games over the last few seasons.

130. Saints: Kurt Coleman,SS,Ohio State

Darren Sharper is still coming off injury and hasn't signed yet. Coleman is underrated and though he's undersized may end up being a 4th round steal.

131. Bengals: Jordan Shipley,WR,Texas

Shipley could be a Wes Welker clone. The Bengals need someone that can perform in the slot and Shipley is a prototypical slot WR. He's also a playmaker, look at the national championship game he's the only Texas WR that produced at all, shredding Alabama's elite defense. I think Shipley could come in and immediately win the job over Caldwell and Cosby and make an immediate impact. This would give Palmer multiple weapons once again as they have Chad,Antonio,Gresham, and Shipley as options. That could provide for an explosive offense, add that to the number 4 defense and you could have a Super Bowl contender.
