Height and Weight: 6-1, 210 lbs.

Summary: McDaniel is my favorite Safety in this draft class. While he isn't the ball hawking Safety that Williams and Moore are he has more than adequate coverage skills. He can play both Safety spots which is something the Bengals like in their Safeties. I've seen him play a little more than the other Safeties and he can lay some monster hits on players. He does an excellent job of reading the QB's eyes. He has good ability to change directions and plays with good mechanics staying low in his backpedal. Once he makes a pick he has a nose for the endzone. I'd say as of now McDaniel will probably be the 1st Safety taken and will likely be gone before the Bengals pick.
